  Sand is a collection of 10 songs, 9 of them original and 1 written by the late Tim Hardin.
  Natives has been sung by Christy Moore since 1987 when it was released as a single from his Unfinished Revolution album and also features on several of his live albums. Christy’s version led to it being covered by several artists, most notably, Paolo Nutini during the One campaign.
  I am very proud of this album and somewhat relieved to finally have a physical record of these songs. Yes, in hindsight, there are things that I would change but…isn’t that life! The most important thing for me is the performance of the songs and I believe that we captured that.
  I am also very grateful to the band, some of my favourite and best musicians around for their commitment to the project and sensitivity to the songs.
